About

I’m Cenyi Wang, a fashion designer, co-founder and co-designer of C.PROTOCOL. I graduated from the Royal College of Art’s Fashion programme. My practice brings together traditional garment craftsmanship, advanced digital technologies and conceptual exploration to expand the possibilities of fashion design and expression.

Cenyi Wang Lab, which I founded, is my research-led design methodology. Through digital fashion, fashion imagery, wearable garments, motion capture and XR technologies, I explore how ideas translate across different media, and the relationships between clothing, the body and the environment.

My independent digital fashion work has been presented at Beijing Fashion Week and Digital Fashion Week on multiple occasions, as well as at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival and Berlin Fashion Week, with presentations and screenings spanning Beijing, Taipei, London, New York and Berlin.

At C.PROTOCOL, I work with Jinmin Chen to design and produce physical fashion collections and sculptural accessories, integrating these digital methods into the creative process and exploring new possibilities for future fashion narratives.

In 2026, my brand C.PROTOCOL presented its ready-to-wear collection through Fashion Scout’s Ones to Watch programme at London Fashion Week and as part of the official Beijing Fashion Week schedule. The brand also won the BFW NEXT CIRCLE Grand Award, the programme’s sole grand prize. C.PROTOCOL also served as an accessories partner for AlienAnt’s presentation at New York Fashion Week.
